This week is Top Ten Series I have given up on and do not plan to finish.
I love this topic. I've "put down" many series over the years. Do to money, space, a long-simmering hate for the characters, length of series and sometimes I just outgrow them or get bored.

Nice list! I also gave up on Undead and Anita Blake. I sort of wish I had given up on Sookie. I was very unhappy with the way the series ended. Thanks for visiting my post!
ReplyDeleteOh, I also gave up on Sookie. Didn't even think about it for my list, though! Gave up on Anita Blake and Feehan's series, too. I didn't even really think of the Chronicles of Nick as separate from the rest of Kenyon's stuff. (Which I've also given up on!)
ReplyDeleteI see we have HoN in common. :) I have all the Sookie books but I haven't been able to pick them up in years. I'm not sure that I ever will. I also have some of the Black Dagger books because a friend recommended it. Although, I have not found myself picking those up in years either. Maybe they just need to be donated! lol.
ReplyDeleteI am seeing a lot of people mention they gave up on Anita Blake. That sucks. :( I've eyed that series for a while but never could get myself to buy them. I don't think that will ever happen now haha.
ReplyDeleteI gave up Anita Blake, Black Dagger Brotherhood, and House of Night too. I got behind in the first two and then I didn't enjoy the story when I jumped back in, so I was confused as all get out. With HON, it was just bad writing.
