This week it was a love freebie. So I am doing my top ten books where the romance was twisted (doesn't mean I didn't like it), toxic or fucked up.
First off let us start with the classics.

Books with romances so toxic I cringed:
Books where I enjoyed the hell out of the twisted romance (And Yes I know this list is eleven long, not ten)

ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of most of these but I liked Wuthering Heights and Twilight. Didn't like Fifty Shades but I do appreciate plenty BDSM/dark romances!
I definitely would've picked... Nine and a Half Weeks, All The Ugly And Wonderful Things, and Dark Secret Love. To name a few ;)

ReplyDeleteOh, I love your twist to the topic! I wanted to read Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea because of the punny title... but I don't know if I will ever read it... I also read Cruel Beauty and I loved it even though it was weird!
