Top Ten Tuesday- Top Ten Favorite Ghost Stories of All Time
Top Ten Tuesday is a fun meme hosted by The Broke and Bookish. This week it is your top ten favorite books of all time- or top ten favorite books in a specific genre. I've chosen ghost stories, cause I love being scared most of all :)
I am definitely too easily freaked out to read much in the way of ghost stories (I start thinking every creak in the night is a murder ghost haha), but I have heard amazing things about Helen Oyeyemi so I'll have to check her book out!
I moderate my comments so they don't appear until I approve them :) Yes Horrorstor takes place inside an ikea like store, the book is also created to look similar to the catalog.
Great picks!! I love Shirley Jackson and Richard Matheson. I really need to read And the Trees Crept In. I just bought it so hopefully I'll read it in October!
I'm going to have to give these a try, I haven't read a ghost story in so long.

ReplyDeleteIs Horrorstör a horror story located in an IKEA? (I could google, but nah). If so, omg I have to read it!

ReplyDeleteGreat list! I should read The Haunting of Hill House. The Lottery is one of the most shocking short stories I've experienced.
